The stay

Fundu Lagoon is a small, private hotel located on a beautiful mangrove fringed beach on the south western shores of Pemba Island, part of the Zanzibar archipelago. Accessible only by boat, the hotel features twelve private hillside and beachfront suites, four bars, a fusion spa, an infinity pool, and a five-star PADI dive centre.

Guests arrive at Fundu Lagoon by boat, then settle into hillside or beachfront suites that look across the mangroves to the sea.
