The stay

With views of the Kilimanjaro and the endless plains of the African savannah, Kambi ya Tembo is a spectacular camp situated on the north face of the Kilimanjaro with fantastic views of Amboseli. The camp is located in Sinya, a 600 square kilometres concession which offers incomparable scenery with magnificent views of the Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru and the Ol Doinyo Longido and Ol Doinyo Orok peaks.

Guests wake to the sight of Kilimanjaro rising above the savannah and end the day around a crackling fire after a welcome drink. Twenty four hour electricity keeps the tents comfortable at any hour, and free parking means arrivals and departures are straightforward.

Full board service at Kambi ya Tembo makes it a convenient base for a tailor made safari within The Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate, where guests can move between game drives across the Sinya concession and relaxed evenings under the same mountain views.
