The stay

Designed for comfort and contemplation, Mboko’s six double/twin chalets are set along the Lékéni River, with screened-in porches tucked under the trees or verandas serenaded by the burbling water. A large pavilion elevated above the savanna serves as the lodge’s social hub, featuring an open deck with a fire pit, a curio shop, a bar, and several areas for relaxed lounging.

Set along the Lékéni River, the six double or twin chalets at Mboko Camp offer screened porches and verandas where the sound of running water provides a quiet backdrop. Each room includes an en-suite bathroom with hot shower and flush toilet, a mosquito-netted bed, and a writing desk for moments of reflection. Guests gather at the elevated pavilion, where the bar and curio shop sit beside an open deck and fire pit suited to evening conversation.

This setting supports a tailor-made safari by placing accommodation close to the river and savanna, allowing flexible daily schedules that can begin early or conclude late.
