The stay
Mumbo Island Camp is a pristine and deserted tropical island in the Lake Malawi National Park. The tiny camp blends in with the African bush to create a Robinson Crusoe atmosphere of rustic charm. The camp accommodates a maximum of fourteen guests in five double/twin Island Chalets perched on high rocks overlooking the water, and one four-bed Forest Chalet tucked into the forest behind the beach. All chalets are fully-furnished with mosquito netting and have en-suite bathrooms. The camp is off-grid and uses solar lamps. Activities include swimming, sea kayaking, snorkelling, and SCUBA diving.
