The stay

Escape from the world. A transfer leads you into a vast desert wilderness to 9 wooden cabins. After checking in an optional guided hike is offered to explore the area. As soon as the dunes have transformed to gold and the distant mountains glow purple, it’s time to wheel beds onto balconies. Enjoy a night under the glittering sky of the Namib. The wooden cabins provide a quiet base from which to step into the desert landscape. Guided or self-guided walks reveal the surrounding dunes and ridges, while communal dining offers a chance to share stories over simple meals. After sunset the beds are moved to the balconies so the night sky can be watched from the comfort of premium linen.

Placed within a tailor-made safari in Namibia, the camp supplies a measured pause between longer game drives and scenic flights. The malaria-free setting and 24-hour security allow travellers to focus on the desert experience without additional concerns.
