The stay

Nanzhila Lake Camp is located on the shoreline of Lake Itezhi-tezhi in the southern section of Kafue National Park. The camp features 5 tented chalets, including a family unit, offering unobstructed views of the floodplain and shoreline. Guests can enjoy a diverse wildlife experience, with a focus on mega herbivores like elephants, buffalo, and hippos, as well as seasonal predator sightings.

Tented chalets at Nanzhila Lake Camp face the shoreline of Lake Itezhi-tezhi, allowing guests to watch elephant, buffalo and hippo activity on the floodplain from the privacy of their own deck. Solar power keeps the camp running quietly, while ensuite bathrooms and reliable wifi maintain comfort without detracting from the surrounding wilderness.

Within a tailor-made safari through Kafue National Park, the camp serves as a calm southern base where days can be split between boat excursions on the lake and guided game drives that target seasonal predator movements.
