Porini Amboseli Camp
The stay
Porini Amboseli Camp is an eco-luxury, 100% solar-powered tented camp located in the exclusive 12,500-acre Selenkay Conservancy within the Amboseli ecosystem. With only 9 guest tents and 1 family unit, the camp offers an intimate and crowd-free safari experience. Guests can enjoy day and night game drives, guided bush walks, and visits to a local Maasai village, all while supporting wildlife conservation and community initiatives.
The camp offers a quiet, low-impact base in the Selenkay Conservancy. Each day begins with a game drive across open plains and ends with night drives that reveal nocturnal wildlife around the waterholes. Between outings, guests gather in the central lounge for meals prepared from local ingredients or connect to the Wi-Fi before retiring to tents supplied by solar power. Guided bush walks and a visit to a nearby Maasai village add further variety to the schedule.
A few tents placed within the exclusive conservancy make the camp an easy starting point for tailor-made safaris in Amboseli National Park. Day and night drives can be combined with longer circuits across the wider ecosystem, while the small camp size keeps departures flexible and private.
