The stay

Puku Ridge is a luxury safari lodge located well inside the South Luangwa National Park, offering an outlook onto a private floodplain and watering hole. The camp features eight luxury safari tents set on an elevated ridge, blending style and comfort seamlessly with nature. Guests can enjoy a multi-level veranda with a plunge pool, a tower with a star bed, and a main area offering indoor and open-air lounges with various dining options and a viewing hide.

The camp sits on a ridge that overlooks a floodplain and watering hole, allowing guests to watch wildlife come and go from the comfort of a multi-level veranda or the plunge pool. Inside each of the eight tents, air conditioning, overhead fans and ensuite facilities provide quiet comfort, while a star bed on the tower offers an open-air place to rest under the night sky. Meals can be taken in the main lodge or arranged as bush dinners, brunches or picnics.

Its position deep inside the national park makes the camp a natural base for tailor-made safaris, with game drives and walking excursions departing directly from the lodge. The full board of breakfast, lunch and dinner, together with flexible bush meals, supports varied daily itineraries without the need to return to camp at set times.
