The stay

Tawana is a luxury Okavango Delta safari camp in Botswana’s iconic Moremi Game Reserve, renowned for its spectacular riverside location and some of the best land-based wildlife viewing in Botswana. It shares the same ecosytem as Sandibe and Chitabe camps.

Tawana places guests in the heart of the Okavango Delta, where the riverside setting supports long, unhurried hours on the water and on foot. The camp’s position inside Moremi Game Reserve means the surrounding plains and channels remain within easy reach for day and night drives, while the shared ecosystem with Sandibe and Chitabe adds further variety to each outing.

Within a tailor-made Botswana itinerary, Tawana anchors the delta phase of the journey. Its riverside base complements earlier or later stays on drier ground, allowing travellers to experience both wetland and savannah habitats without long transfers between camps.
