Tongabezi Lodge is an award-winning eco-lodge located on the banks of the Zambezi River, just 12km upstream of Victoria Falls. The lodge offers a selection of individually styled Houses and Cottages, combining luxury and romance with a hint of adventure. The river cottages and houses at Tongabezi Lodge place guests within sight of the Zambezi, where morning light crosses the water and afternoon breezes move through open sided rooms. A lap pool and gym sit near the main area, and a bar serves drinks on a deck that overlooks the current. Meals are served in different locations each day, allowing guests to move between shaded terraces and open river banks while staff maintain the quiet rhythm of the lodge.

Positioned a short distance upstream of Victoria Falls, the lodge works well as the opening or closing stop on a tailor made journey through Zambia. Guests can combine river based activities with game drives further afield, returning each evening to the privacy of a River Cottage or The Tree House before the next stage of travel begins.
