The stay
Our thatched cottages are all different, stylishly bright and comfortable – whether you want to sit and watch the river go by or relax on your own veranda with a good book or a pair of binoculars. Drive down our sandy road to reach woodland trees, colourful flower borders and rolling lawns with thatched cottages scattered around the gardens. Down on the riverbank the Zambezi flows past with a vast wild national park on the opposite bank.
Each cottage offers a quiet retreat where the river sets the pace. Private terraces look across lawns to the water, and inside the rooms are finished with air conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. Guests can choose between a swim in the pool, a book on the veranda or a cup of tea from the bar fridge, while laundry service keeps everything fresh.
In a tailor-made safari across Zambia the lodge provides a calm base on the Zambezi, pairing fully inclusive meals with the chance to watch wildlife across the river or explore the national park beyond. Standard King Rooms and Family Cottages suit couples or small groups, and the setting bridges days spent on the water with evenings spent on the lawns.
